Legal / terms of sale

Terms of sale.

They apply to the maintenance plans bought on sguottisoftware.com: the Website plan and the Commerce plan. Version of 4 October 2026.

01 · Seller

Who sells.

Francesco Sguotti, trading as Francesco Sguotti Software, based in Monselice (PD), Italy, VAT number IT05649940284. For any communication, including cancellation and withdrawal, write to francesco.sguotti03@gmail.com. With an active plan you can also use the support form in the members area.

02 · What you buy

An annual maintenance subscription.

An annual maintenance subscription for the website or e-commerce you indicate when buying. What each plan includes is what the Shop page lists on the day of purchase: updates, backups, monitoring, change hours, reports and response times. New features and out-of-plan work are quoted separately.

  • Website plan: €199.99 a year
  • Commerce plan: €399.99 a year

03 · Prices and invoice

The price is what you pay.

Prices are in euros. I work under the Italian flat-rate scheme (regime forfettario, art. 1, paragraphs 54–89, Law 190/2014): VAT is not applied, so the price shown is the total amount. After payment you receive an electronic invoice issued with the details you enter before paying.

04 · Payment

By card, through Stripe.

You pay by card on Stripe when you buy and then at every annual renewal. Card details are handled by Stripe: they never pass through this site and I don't store them.

05 · Term and renewal

One year, then it renews on its own.

The subscription lasts 12 months from payment and renews automatically for another 12 months, charged to the same card, until you cancel it. If the renewal price changes, I'll tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal, so you can cancel before it applies.

06 · Cancellation

Cancel whenever you like.

You can cancel the renewal at any time from the members area, with the Manage subscription button, or by writing to me. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid and then does not renew. If you ask to end the contract straight away, I refund the unused change hours in proportion to the months left.

07 · Withdrawal

Buying as a consumer: 14 days to change your mind.

If you are a consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason (art. 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code): an explicit message, for example by email, is enough. When buying you ask for the service to start straight away: if you withdraw within the 14 days you pay only for the service already provided up to your message, and I refund the rest within 14 days with the same payment method. Withdrawal does not apply to business or professional buyers.

08 · Getting started

What happens after payment.

You receive members area access by email and I contact you for the initial audit, which I carry out within 3–5 working days. To work on the site I need the relevant access (control panel, hosting or repository), which you provide. The plan's response times are counted in working days.

09 · Liability

Diligence, not miracles.

I carry out the work with professional diligence. I can't guarantee that a site will never suffer downtime or attacks, and I'm not liable for problems caused by third-party hosting, services or plugins, or by changes made to the site by others without agreement. Consumers' statutory rights are not affected.

10 · Support and complaints

If something goes wrong.

For support, use the members area. For complaints, write to the email above: I reply within two working days.

11 · Law and jurisdiction

Italian law.

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the court of your place of residence has jurisdiction; otherwise the courts of Padua. Personal data is processed as described in the privacy notice. This English text is a translation: the Italian version prevails.
