API integrations · Monselice, Padua and Veneto

Programs that talk to each other, so people stop acting as the bridge.

Integrations between website, e-commerce, CRM, management software, online platforms and marketing tools: consistent data, handled errors, flows you can keep under control.

The point

Connecting two programs is the easy part. You have to decide who holds the right data, when to update it and what to do when a call fails. I know it from e-commerce tracking: two systems that talk badly count the same sale twice.

What changes, in practice.

One source for each piece of data

Records, orders and statuses have an authoritative system, instead of copies that don't match.

Less bridging work

Nobody has to export and retype data between programs that should work together.

Errors under control

Retries, alerts and logs show delays and anomalies before they become problems.

Who it makes sense for.

  • Website, CRM and sales

Contacts and requests reach the right person, with consent and context.

  • E-commerce and management software

Orders, catalogue, stock and customers travel with clear rules.

  • External services

Payments, documents, notifications and specialist data connected without manual steps.

How I work, in four phases.

  1. Phase 1

    Inventory

What exists, what's needed, who owns each piece of data and which flow comes first.

  2. Phase 2

    The contract

Fields, frequency, access, transformations and behaviour when something goes wrong.

  3. Phase 3

    Build and test

Test environment, realistic cases and checks before going into production.

  4. Phase 4

    Over time

Logs, alerts and an owner, because connected programs change.

Questions I'm often asked.

Can very different programs be connected?

Often yes, but it depends on the quality of their APIs and data. A technical check at the start avoids promises that don't hold up.

Who maintains it over time?

The integration is documented and can be monitored. If the flow is critical, we can agree a maintenance plan.

Tell me how your work runs today.

A few lines are enough: what you do, which tools you use, where time gets lost. I reply myself, within two working days.
